DESIGN,
Design has always been an inherent part of who I am. Color coding, organizing, intentional selections, and thoughtful decision-making have always been my love language - and they’re exactly what led me to the Graphic Design program at Oklahoma State University. In college, I leaned into the work I loved most - illustration, typography, print, and web design. Those long studio hours eventually carried me to an internship at The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, and threads of my time there are still woven through my design style.
After graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design, I married my high school sweetheart, Ryan. Now we have two daughters - Madeline (5) and Claire (1) - plus our pup, Josie, and a rotating cast of chickens and pigs. We live on an acreage in Oklahoma City, slowly building the sustainable little farm we’ve always dreamed of. When I’m away from my desk, I’m outside with my girls - exploring, creating, and diving into whatever farm project we’ve dreamed up next - or in a Pilates class, balancing it all out (or at least trying to).
Before freelancing, I spent over eight years at a local agency, working my way through just about every role imaginable - sales, project management, production, publishing, social media, and more. Those years gave me range, grit, and a deep understanding of how design moves from idea to execution. But as life shifted in 2020 and our first daughter arrived, I realized I was ready for something lighter, more intentional, and a lot more me.
Freelancing has been the happiest plot twist. I’m endlessly grateful for every referral, every collaboration, and every “I think you’d be perfect for this.” And if you’ve made it this far - cheers. If you have design needs and aren’t sure where to begin, let’s chat.
